Delhi University To Host Major Employment And Internship Fair On Oct 8; Over 40 Companies To Participate

Delhi University's Central Placement Cell will organise a job fair on October 8, in which more than 40 companies will participate. Along with jobs, students will also find internship opportunities. By the registration deadline, more than 5,000 students had registered.

Delhi University (DU) is set to offer new career opportunities for its students with a large-scale employment and internship fair scheduled on October 8. The event will take place in the multipurpose hall of the DU Sports Stadium and will see participation from more than 40 leading companies from across the country.

Prof Hena Singh, in charge of the DU Central Placement Cell, said the response from students has been overwhelming, with over 5,000 registrations recorded by the final registration date on Sunday.

Companies from the IT, hospitality, start-up, and service sectors will take part in the fair, conducting both on-the-spot interviews and online evaluations.

The fair is open to undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD students of Delhi University, as well as DU alumni who register in advance. Students will have access to both job and internship opportunities, giving them a chance to gain practical industry experience.
