Delhi Water Cut: Residents in several parts of the national capital should prepare for a temporary water supply disruption on January 21 and 22. The Delhi Jal Board (DJB) has scheduled this water outage as a part of annual maintenance, which involves the essential flushing of underground reservoirs and booster pumping stations.

The Delhi Jal Board has apologised for the inconvenience caused by the water supply disruption and advised residents to store an adequate supply of water in advance to avoid inconvenience during the maintenance period.

Delhi Water Cut On January 21-22: Check List Of Affected Areas

The scheduled water supply disruption will impact several localities areas across the national capital over the two-day period.

On January 21, water supply will be affected in the adjoining areas of Prem Kunj, while on January 22, Nangloi, GH-12, Paschim vihar, Mundka including adjoining colonies, Hiran Kudna, Kamruddin Nagar, Nihal Vihar, Ranholla Village, Bakkarwala, Nangloi JJC & Camps, R Block Jwalapuri, Rajdhani Park, Friends Enclave, Kavita Colony, Mohan Garden group of colonies, Fish Market Booster command area colonies, Vikas Nagar group of colonies, Uttam nagar group of colonies , Matiala area Hastsal Dichaonkalan, Jharoda Village, Mitraon Village Gopal Nagar, Sainik Enclave with all adjoining colonies, Chawla Village, Badusrai, villages and colonies in the command of Ujwa and Daulatpur UGRs will experience low or no water supply.

During the two-day maintenance period, water supply affected areas will either be completely suspended or be available at low pressure. To reduce the impact on households, the Delhi Jal Board has established dedicated helplines, allowing residents to request emergency water tankers by contacting their nearest emergency control room.
