Delhi Weather And AQI Update: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert in the capital for a partly cloudy sky, with moderate fog at many places and dense fog at isolated locations during the morning hours. Wind speeds have reached approximately 13 kmph, and reduced visibility may affect traffic on roads and highways. Delhi is also likely to receive rainfall later this week

The air quality in Delhi remains in the severe category, with an AQI of 418 at 7 am, according to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB). Due to the cold conditions and fog, pollutants are accumulating in the atmosphere, increasing the risk of respiratory problems.

The sky will be partly cloudy, with shallow to moderate fog during the morning hours.

On January 21, the maximum temperature will be 23-25 degree celsius and the minimum temperature 05-07 degree celsius. Winds will be from the northwest at 05-10 kmph, occasionally strengthening to 10-15 kmph before reducing again to 05-10 kmph. The sky will be partly cloudy, with shallow to moderate fog during the morning hours.

On January 22, the maximum temperature will be 24-26 degree celsius and the minimum temperature 05-07 degree celsius. Winds will shift from westerly at 0-05 kmph to southwesterly at 05-10 kmph, and later southeasterly at 10-15 kmph. The sky will be partly cloudy, becoming generally cloudy towards the afternoon/evening, with shallow to moderate fog during the morning hours.

On January 23, the maximum temperature will be 20-22 degree celsius and the minimum temperature 09-11 degree celsius. Southeasterly winds will blow at 15-20 kmph, easing to 10-15 kmph later. The sky will be generally cloudy, with very light rain or drizzle likely. Strong surface winds may reach 20-30 kmph, and shallow to moderate fog is expected during the morning hours.
