National Lok Adalat Delhi: The National Lok Adalat, previously scheduled for December 13, 2025, will now be held on January 10, 2026. This postponement was finalised by the Executive Chairman of the Delhi State Legal Services Authority (DSLSA) after the High Court of Delhi designated December 13 as a formal court sitting day.

On January 10, 2026, all District Court Complexes across Delhi will open their doors to vehicle owners, providing a one-day opportunity settle eligible traffic e-challans without lengthy court proceedings.

How To Settle Your Traffic Challans At National Lok Adalat

Check Pending Traffic Challans: Look for any pending challans on the Delhi Traffic Police website or the Parivahan portal. Enter your vehicle registration or challan number to see all unpaid e-challans linked to your vehicle. Only those visible on the official portals will be taken up in the Lok Adalat.

Confirm Eligibility: Ensure your challans are minor and compoundable offences. Serious violations, such as drunk driving or hit-and-run cases, cannot be settled during this Lok Adalat.

Register Online: Advance registration is mandatory, as walk-in cases are generally not accepted. Visit the Delhi Traffic Police website or the DSLSA Lok Adalat registration page. Enter your vehicle details, challan numbers and contact information.

Download Token: Once registered, download and print your token number and appointment letter. These documents are required for entry into the court complex and getting your case listed at the Lok Adalat.

Case Hearing And Settlement: Your case will be heard by a bench consisting of a judicial officer and a legal services authority representative. Depending on the offence, the bench will reduce the fine or waive it fully.

Final Payment And Resolution: If a settlement is reached, pay the revised fine at the designated counter on the same day. Once you receive your official receipt, the challan will be marked as resolved in the system.
