SSC JHT Exam 2026: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) scheduled the Junior Hindi Translator (JHT) exam 2026 on September 8, 2026. However, candidates who appeared for the exam at the Aadarsh Pariksha Kendra (APK) in Sector 155, Noida reportedly faced technical issues. As a consequence, the exam could not be started on time, leaving candidates agitated and frustrated at the end. The exam was expected to start at 12 Noon on September 8, 2026, and conclude at 2 PM. But after waiting for a long time, the officials were unable to fix the technical problem.
Since the exam could not commence on time, the authorities decided to postpone it and reportedly rescheduled it for September 13. The issue once again raised questions about the management that failed to conduct such key examinations effectively.
SSC Junior Hindi Translator Exam 2026 Rescheduled For September 13
Following the disruption, the Commission rescheduled the SSC Junior Hindi Translator Exam 2026 to September 13, 2026. Candidates who appeared at the respective Noida centre will therefore get the opportunity to appear for the exam on the revised date. Notably, the decision only applies to candidates at the affected centre and does not amount to a postponement of the examination across all centres.
Technical Issue Led To Commotion At Centre
Candidates who reached the Noida exam centre on September 8 for the SSc JHT exam were asked to wait for an extended period of time while the centre officials dealt with the technical issue. With the prolonged delay, candidates were frustrated, leading to commotion at the centre. However, the issue could not be solved, and therefore candidates were asked to leave the exam centre.
