NIFT Exam 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting the NIFT entrance exam tomorrow, February 8, 2026. The exam will be held in offline mode at designated centres for the CAT and GAT papers. The reporting time is 8 AM, and the gate will close at 9:30 AM. NIFT 2026 will begin at 10 AM. 

NIFT is a national-level exam conducted annually for admission to UG and PG design courses, such as BDes and MDes, at prestigious NIFTs across the country. Registered candidates must download the NIFT admit card from exams.nta.nic.in/niftee, released on February 5, 2026. Check all the details mentioned on it carefully. Carry your admit card along with a government-issued ID to the examination centre. Entry will be barred without the admit card.

NIFT Exam 2026: What Documents To Carry On Exam Day?

Candidates going to appear for the NIFT 2026 tomorrow must bring the following documents with them to the examination centre:

1. NIFT Admit Card: Bring a printout copy of the admit card. No digital copies will be accepted.

2. Government-issued ID: Bring any one of the following government issued ID: 

  • Aadhaar Card

  • Voter ID

  • Passport

  • Driving Licence

  • PAN Card

3. Photograph: Carry two recently clicked coloured photographs, same as the ones uploaded. 

4. Caste Certificates (If Applicable): Bring all the relevant certificates duly attested by the authorities. 

5. Ball Point Pen/ Pencil / Erasers / Ruler (In a transparent pouch)/ A-4 Transparent Acrylic Board.

NIFT Exam 2026: Last-Minute Exam Day Tips

Here are some NIFT last-minute tips that you must follow to avoid any inconvenience during the exam. 

1. Try to reach the exam centre before the reporting time. 

2. Carry your admit card along with the government-issued ID to the exam centre. 

3. Bring all stationery for the NIFT CAT paper. No lending or borrowing of stuff will be allowed. 

4. Avoid bringing any electronic devices such as mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, and earbuds to the examination hall. Possession of such things may result in the cancellation of candidature. 

5. Do not leave the exam hall without the permission of the invigilator. 

6. Follow all exam day instructions posted on the official website.
