UPTET Answer Key 2026 Out: UPESSC Releases Provisional Answer Key At upessc.up.gov.in, Objection Window Open Until July 14

UPTET Provisional Answer Key 2026 Out: The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has officially released the provisional answer key for the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test on July 8, 2026. The answer key is available in PDF format for Papers 1 and 2 across paper sets A, B, C, and D. Candidates who appeared for the exam from July 2 to 4, 2026, can download the provisional answer key PDF for their respective papers and compare their draft responses with the answers. This helps them estimate their probable marks before the final result is declared. 

The Commission has also opened the objection window from July 8 to 14, allowing candidates to submit their objections if any.

How to Download UPTET Provisional Answer Key PDF?

Using the following steps, candidates can download the answer key PDF from the official website.

Step 1: Go to the  UPESSC official website at upessc.up.gov.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the UPTET Exam portal tab.

Step 3: Enter your roll number and date of birth.

Step 4: Select the “UPTET Provisional Answer Key 2026” link and choose your respective paper set.

Step 5: The PDF will open on the screen. 

Step 6: Download and cross-check your responses.

UPTET 2026 Objection Window

The Commission has also opened the objection window along with the provisional answer key. Candidates finding discrepancies with the answers marked in the PDF can challenge them within this time period. They must attach supporting documents and pay the objection fee while submitting the challenges through the official website. Offline submission sent via fax, post, etc will not be accepted. Once these objections are examined by the experts, the UPESSC will release the final answer key and results. 

UPTET 2026: Minimum Qualifying Marks

Candidates need to secure the qualifying marks for their categories to proceed to the next stage of the selection process. Qualified candidates will get the Eligibility Certificate under the prescribed validity rules. Category-wise qualifying percentage and marks are as follows: 

The Commission will use the normalization process to calculate marks since the paper was conducted on multiple days across shifts.
