Dhurandhar has managed to attract viewers from across the world, despite being officially banned in Pakistani theatres. In a shocking turn of events, the spy thriller's pirated DVDs are being sold openly, showcasing the great level of public demand in spite of the setbacks. The spy thriller, which also starred Akshaye Khanna, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, and Sanjay Dutt in significant roles, was a box office hit in India.

Indian YouTuber Karl Rock recently found pirated versions of the Indian movie Dhurandhar being sold at Rainbow Centre, a recognised location for pirated content, in Karachi. Many people who watched the video were surprised to learn that the movie cost merely PKR 50 (about Rs 16) despite Pakistan's ban on Indian films.

The YouTuber further said in the video, "Indian films are banned in Pakistan, but look what I found." The store owner attested, "Dhurandhar is an Indian movie. The merchant said, "Sir, it is for Rs 50 PKR (Rs 16)," in response to Rock's inquiry over the price.

The distribution of pirated DVDs also reveals the mismatch between consumer demand and regulatory regulations. Unofficial distribution networks are operating freely in local marketplaces despite the government's ban on Indian films being shown in theatres. Because there aren't any legal screening options, viewers are turning to cheap physical copies.
