Dhurandhar On OTT: After a record-breaking theatrical run, Ranveer Singh starrer Dhurandhar has been setting new benchmarks with its OTT release on Netflix. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the spy action thriller made its digital debut on January 30, after completing eight weeks in the theatre and has taken the digital space by storm with its viewership. Dhurandhar has surpassed hit movies like Animal and Pushpa 2 within just one week of its OTT debut.

Dhurandhar Netflix Viewership Record

According to Netflix's weekly data chart, Dhurandhar secured the No. 1 spot in Top 10 non-English films. It has recorded 7.6 million views in its first three days in India. This data was derived between January 26 and February 2.

Dhurandhar has surpassed Ranbir Kapoor's Animal, which had recorded 6.2 million views on Netflix in the same time frame upon its debut. Ranveer Singh starrer has also beaten Fighter with 5.9 million, Pushpa 2 The Rule with 5.8 million and Jawan with 5.2 million.

Apart from Dhurandhar, another Indian film that has secured a spot in Netflix's Top 10 is Dhanush and Kriti Sanon's romantic drama Tere Ishk Mein, which scored 3.8 million views in the first weekend and has now earned 4.4 million views this week.

Dhurandhar is a spy action thriller starring Ranveer Singh in the lead role as an Indian spy who infiltrates criminal gangs in Pakistan’s Lyari with the mission of dismantling a terror network to protect the nation. Akshaye Khanna portrays Rehman Dakait, a gangster of Pakistan. The movie also stars Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Sara Arjun and Rakesh Bedi, among others. The film became the first Bollywood film to cross Rs 1000 crore at the domestic box office, while earning Rs 1303 crore worldwide.

Produced by Jio Studios, Dhurandhar has become a benchmark for its sequel. While the first part's digital rights were acquired by Netflix for Rs 85 crore, Dhurandhar 2, has already made headlines by reportedly securing Rs 150 crore streaming deal with JioHotstar. 

The highly anticipated action thriller is scheduled to release in theatres on March 19, 2026, clashing with Yash’s Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups.
