Ikka On Netflix: Sunny Deol and Akshaye Khanna are officially set to make their highly anticipated OTT debuts with Ikka, a hard-hitting legal thriller. Unveiled by Netflix India as a major highlight of its 2026 content lineup, the movie marks the first time the two powerhouses are sharing the screen since the 1997 war classic Border.

Ikka Release Date Out

Ikka is officially locked for a worldwide premiere on Netflix on July 10, 2026. Directed by Siddharth P. Malhotra, who recently helmed the successful period legal drama Maharaj, Ikka promises to deliver immense dramatic tension, testing moral lines over typical courtroom theatrics.

Ikka Cast

Alongside the lead duo, the film boasts a stellar ensemble cast including Dia Mirza, Tillotama Shome, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Shishir Sharma, and Akansha Ranjan Kapoor in a central appearance. Ikka is produced under the banner of Alchemy Films with a layered screenplay penned by Althea Kaushal and Mayank Tewari.

Ikka Plot

The first look motion poster and teaser clip released by Netflix have already triggered immense buzz on social media. Fans have flooded online comment sections to voice their excitement over the clash of the two acting heavyweights. While Deol's explosive courtroom presence recalls memories of his iconic Damini era, Khanna's sharp intensity has drawn immediate comparisons to his highly praised character in the action-blockbuster Dhurandhar.

Ikka presents an intense, personal confrontation between two bitter arch-rivals. The gripping plot centres on Sikandar Mehra (played by Sunny Deol), a celebrated and notoriously incorruptible defence lawyer. His ethical boundaries are pushed to the absolute limit when he is legally coerced into defending a murder accused (portrayed by Akshaye Khanna) the exact same man whose career he had brutally destroyed years prior.

Facing a highly humiliating and existentially dangerous brief, the top lawyer is forced to turn the system inside out to save his family and protect his own dark secrets. To win a high-stakes deal with the devil, he must weaponise the legal system, bending rules and ethics in ways he never imagined.
