Sanatan hi hai jo satya hai. To vo bhi Sanatani hi hai. Ab unko satya likhne mai kya ghabrahat? Likh dijiye.”

Why The Committee Made This Rule?

The matter started after Hemant Dwivedi, chairman of the Badri-Kedar Temple Committee, presented a proposal regarding temple entry. According to Dwivedi, non-Hindus visiting these temples as devotees will have to sign an affidavit stating that they believe in Sanatan Dharma and Hindutva before entering the Kedarnath and Badrinath temples. This proposal has been allegedly sent to the Uttarakhand government ahead of the start of the Char Dham Yatra in April.
