Orhan Awatramani, popularly known as Orry on social media, has recently revisited his fallout with Sara Ali Khan. In the recent episode of Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi’s show Double Date, Orry revealed that their friendship ended after Sara abandoned him during a difficult phase of his life. Orry also alleged that while he stood by her during a personal crisis, he did not receive any support or reciprocation.

Orry Calls Sara Ali Khan A ‘Fake Friend’, Recalls Their Childhood Friendship

During the podcast, Neha Dhupia asked Orry to name the most famous person he had unfollowed on social media. He promptly answered Sara Ali Khan. He added, "I'm very public about it. Her mother scolded me a lot, so I unfollowed her too."

After that, Orry revisited his and Sara’s childhood friendship. "There are fake friendships. This girl was my childhood friend. We were friends through college and then even 10 years after college," he said.

When asked about the reason behind the fallout, Orry said that Sara failed to be there with him when he needed her the most.

Orry then recalled a difficult period in Sara's life. Without disclosing many details of the incident, he claimed that he supported the actress despite people advising him to distance himself.

"We were in Goa when she got into a big case. I stood by her through all of that, never left her side," he said.

Further, Orry said that Sara did not reciprocate the support when he was in a difficult situation. He alleged that Sara did not call or check on him during that strained period.

"When your life was under fire, and everyone told me to leave her side and not get caught up, I stood by her side. I took care of her. And when the tables flipped, and you had to be there with me for once, you couldn't even give me a phone call," Orry added.

Why Is Orry Upset With Amrita Singh? Influencer Says He Never Received An Apology

Orry's disagreement with Sara also appears to be linked to his strained relationship with Amrita Singh. During the conversation, he alleged that Sara's mother had scolded him and made remarks about him to other people.

He said continuing his friendship with Sara would mean overlooking what he claims happened between him and Amrita.

"I just thought if I pretended to be friends with you, then whatever you did and whatever abuses your mother threw at me and said about me to others, it made that okay. And it's not okay, and I never got an apology after that," he said.

The influencer maintained that he cannot resume the friendship without addressing the alleged incident. His comments also mark a continuation of his earlier statements about Amrita.

In a January 2026 interview with Hindustan Times, Orry had spoken about the alleged emotional toll of his experience with Amrita and indicated that an apology could potentially help resolve the differences. "If Amrita Singh were to apologise, I could maybe see myself letting it go in the future," he had said at the time.

Why Is Orry Upset With Amrita Singh?

Orry not only feels let down by Sara Ali Khan, but by her mother Amrita Singh too. During the same conversation, Orry said that Amrita Singh scolded him, used abusive words, and made remarks about him in front of other people.

Orry explained that he felt that if he continued his friendship with Sara, then it would mean dismissing the claims he made against Amrita.

"I just thought if I pretended to be friends, then whatever she did and whatever abuses her mother threw at me and said about me to others, it made that okay. And it's not okay, and I never got an apology after that," he said.

This is not the first time Orry has spoken about his fallout with Amrita Singh and Sara Ali Khan.

In a January 2026 interview with Hindustan Times, Orry spoke about the emotional toll of his experience with Amrita. He said that an apology could help resolve the differences. "If Amrita Singh were to apologise, I could maybe see myself letting it go in the future," he said.
