Punjabi singer and lyricist Baljeet Singh, aged around 35, was found dead at his residence in the Sudhar Patti Dhaliwal area of Ludhiana on Thursday. Police recovered his body in a highly decomposed condition.

Singh had been living alone and neighbors alerted the authorities after detecting a foul smell emanating from the house.

Sudhar Station House Officer Kulwinder Singh arrived at the scene shortly after receiving the alert. The body has been sent to Civil Hospital for a post-mortem examination and Singh's relatives have been informed.

Baljeet Singh Death Reason

As cited by PTI, the post-mortem report confirmed that Singh died of a heart attack. Police added that further investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death remains ongoing.
