Actor Rajpal Yadav has firmly denied rumours claiming that he broke down in court or told a judge that he did not have money. The actor clarified that these reports are completely false and have been spread on social media without any factual basis.

In an exclusive conversation with IANS, Rajpal Yadav said that many of the stories circulating online are imaginary and misleading. He stressed that people who are unaware of the actual details of the case have misrepresented facts for attention. “Don’t believe the imaginary stories of social media,” he said. He added that while some posts may have come from well-wishers, others were shared by people who do not understand the matter at all.

Rajpal Yadav also said that audiences should only associate him with laughter and positivity. “If one looks at Rajpal’s face, there should be a burst of laughter; do not expect anything more than that,” he remarked, reinforcing his image as a comic actor who brings joy to viewers. The actor further revealed that he received support from several members of the film industry during this challenging time. Although many individuals reached out to help him, their names were not widely mentioned online. He also said that his family has stood by him and offered constant encouragement.

The Bhool Bhulaiyaa actor was recently granted interim bail by the Delhi High Court in connection with a cheque bounce case. During the hearing, his lawyer informed the court that a demand draft of Rs 1.5 crore had been submitted. Rajpal was also directed to surrender his passport as part of the conditions. The next hearing in the case is scheduled for March 18.
