The announcement video triggered strong buzz on social media. Many lauded the real-life inspired concept backed by well-known journalist Sudhir Chaudhary. Several users, however, mocked the makers, claiming this is the Dhurandhar effect.

A user wrote, "Dhurandhar 1and 2 ka effect, Dhurandhar jaisa proper research hoya chahiye." Another user wrote, "Sab Pakistan Ke Piche lag gaya hai movie hit hone ke liye." A third user said, "Dhurandhar se inspire hokar movie to bana loge lekin us jesi research or dedication bhi chahiyegi. Sirf terrorism or kashmir ke naam par log nahi ayenge."

Real-Life Inspired The Terror Report

The Terror Report will broaden the scope to reveal the ongoing, unresolved narrative of India's battle against transnational terror. The political action thriller explores the most recent, sad, and pivotal events influencing the nation's contemporary security environment by fusing investigative intrigue, intelligence operations, and profound human stories.

Vikrant Massey, Rashii Khanna, and Ridhi Dogra starred in the 2024 film The Sabarmati Report. It focused on the fallout from the 2002 Godhra train burning event. On the morning of February 27, 2002, a fire inside the Sabarmati Express near the Godhra railway station in Gujarat claimed the lives of 59 Hindu pilgrims and karsevaks returning from Ayodhya.
