Why Are Akanksha Chamola And Gaurav Khanna Getting A Divorce?
Akanksha Chamola candidly opened up about her relationship struggles. "Jab hum shaadi mein thhe, mera maternal instinct kabhi nahi tha. But I was open to discovering it, and it was never shut down. But gradually I realised that I am not meant for it, and he was okay with it. But I guess, in time, that shifted."
She added, "Now, he wants to have kids, and I can’t give him that. Nahi hein mere mein instinct, woh maine bohot pehle bol diya tha."
Akanksha Chamola shared that as soon as the realisation hit her, she was upfront about her intention. She detailed a serious discussion she had with her husband, Gaurav, where she went as far as giving him the option to walk away, telling him that if he wanted to leave her, it would be 'fair enough'.
"He is not wrong on his part. And then Bigg Boss happened, and I realised that isko bohot zyaada hain aur main nahi kar paa rahi hoon. For me, I don’t want to put him in that situation," she shared.

Did Gaurav Khanna React?
Akanksha Chamola went on to say that she would prefer to be childless and can't even consider adoption. Gaurav Khanna, however, has not yet reacted to the remarks.
For the unversed, Gaurav Khanna talked about his marriage in a conversation with YouTuber Mridul Tiwari during his time on Bigg Boss 19. He reflected on the journey he and Chamola had taken together over the years in response to a question regarding fatherhood.
He said, "I wanted kids, but since it's a love marriage, I have to respect what she wants. I don't want to start a family until my wife feels ready. A mother's role is incomparable. If I'm meant to be a father, that will happen in its time, but I'll wait for my wife without any hesitation."
