The reality show Lock Upp: Sach ya Sazaa continues to bring emotional and personal conversations from its contestants. In the latest episode, actress Akanksha Chamola spoke openly about her separation from actor Gaurav Khanna and shared why she is not looking for another relationship anytime soon. The actress revealed that after spending years in marriage, she now wants to enjoy her independence and take time to explore life on her own.

Akanksha Chamola Opens Up On Life After Divorce Announcement 

During a fun conversation inside the Lock Upp 2 house, Akanksha Chamola complimented Harshad Chopra's physique, saying, "Hum tumhare biceps ki tareef kar rahe the..."

Harshad jokingly replied, "Gaurav will hit me." Akanksha laughed and asked if he was scared of Gaurav. Harshad smiled and admitted, "Haan thoda."

After Harshad walked away, Akanksha quietly told Shreya, "Sister, let's keep this between us. I don't want to make it public. I just want to be available for this candy (Shreya)." She said it jokingly. 

'I Want to Enjoy My Freedom': Akanksha Chamola 

Later, Shreya asked Akanksha whether she was ready to fall in love again. Akanksha replied, "I don't know, not at the moment." 

When Shreya advised her to take her own time, the actress explained, "I got married when I was really young. I was just 24. So, I haven't really enjoyed my freedom much. After spending ten years in a good relationship, I finally have time to explore life. I don't want to get into something else right now." Shreya responded by saying, "I want you guys to come back together."

Akanksha Chamola Announces Divorce From Gaurav Khanna

During the premiere episode, Akanksha had revealed that she and Gaurav Khanna had decided to end their marriage.

She had said, "Me and Gaurav are getting a divorce. We've been living separately for the last year. It wasn't public, but that's my secret."

Akanksha And Gaurav Still Share Good Bond

The actress also clarified that the decision was mutual and there was no bitterness between them. She explained, "We still talk to each other. We simply realised we aren't compatible as life partners because we see different futures. There's no bad blood between us." 

Akanksha added that both families believed they were only taking some time apart because they continued to support each other publicly. The couple, who married in 2016 in Kanpur, had chosen to keep their separation private until now.
