Ranveer Singh Dhurandhar Fee: Ranveer Singh-starrer spy thriller Dhurandhar has become one of the most successful movies at the box office in recent years. New information regarding its budget and fee structure has now surfaced. The actor and director Aditya Dhar chose a profit-sharing plan rather than demanding large upfront compensation, relying on the success of Dhurandhar Parts 1 and 2.

Ranveer Singh and Aditya Dhar opted to accept reduced upfront payments in exchange for backend deals that allowed them to share in the movie's revenues, according to Jyoti Deshpande, who co-produced the franchise under Jio Studios.

The Dhurandhar movie producer discussed controlling growing production expenses in an interview with ET Digital. She disclosed that the makers used a risk-sharing strategy, with Ranveer Singh and Aditya Dhar opting to split the movie's earnings rather than accept large upfront payments.

"In Dhurandhar, Ranveer came with a smaller fixed fee and a backend deal, and therefore benefited from that arrangement. The same was true for Aditya, who also came in with a smaller fixed fee and a backend. He ended up making a significant upside along with us. That’s how you distribute both the risk and the reward," she said.

According to Jyoti Deshpande, the strategy made sure that everyone working on the movie had a stake in its success rather than relying on substantial upfront payouts. The producer claims that Dhurandhar ended up costing nearly twice as much as anticipated.

"On Dhurandhar, we went all in. The film ended up being made for almost double the amount we had initially set out to spend. Of course, we eventually ended up with a two-part film, so it became a journey. In the end, all of us went laughing to the bank," she added.

Ranveer Singh reportedly took home a smaller fixed fee of Rs 30–50 crore, approximately.
