Raayan Plot
The film Raayan revolves around the life of Kaartavaraayan, fondly referred to as Raayan, played by Dhanush, who shares a deep bond with his siblings, comprising brothers Muthuvelaraayan and Maanikyaraayam, portrayed by Sundeep Kishan and Kalidas Jayaram respectively, as well as his sister Duraga, essayed by Dushara Vijayan. The narrative takes a dramatic turn when Muthuvelaraayan becomes embroiled in a violent altercation with the henchmen of a notorious gangster named Dorai, acted by Sravanan, leading to severe repercussions.
Meanwhile, another gangster, Sethuram, played by SJ Suryah, emerges with a sinister motive to eliminate Raayan, leaving the audience wondering about the underlying reasons driving Sethuram's murderous intentions. Raayan was initially slated for a June 13, 2024, release. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, the movie's launch was delayed, leaving fans eagerly awaiting a new release date.
