The Gurugram Police have decided to establish six new police stations, including two dedicated cyber police stations, to strengthen the city’s security framework. The decision was taken during a C-level committee meeting chaired by the Police Commissioner, where issues related to policing and police welfare were discussed.
Under the proposal, one new cyber police station will be opened in each of the East and West zones. In addition, new police stations are planned for Sector 93, Sector 46, Gwal Pahari, and Haily Mandi. A formal proposal will be sent to the administration for approval.

During the meeting, several police welfare initiatives were also reviewed. To help reduce stress among police personnel, a Yogeshwar Vatika (garden) has been developed at the Police Lines. However, no consensus was reached on creating special zones for senior citizens in the police lines of Gurugram, Manesar, and Bhondsi.
Keeping personnel fitness and health in focus, officials also decided to construct cricket practice nets and synthetic badminton courts at police facilities.

Officials said the measures are aimed at improving both law enforcement capabilities and the overall well-being of police personnel.
