The New Year has brought good news for youths preparing to join the Haryana Police. On the very first day of the year, Thursday, the Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) released a recruitment advertisement for 5,500 Constable posts. These vacancies include 4,500 posts for Male Constables, 600 for Female Constables, and 400 for the Haryana Railway Police.
Application Dates And Fees HSSC
Chairman Himmat Singh stated that under Advertisement No. 01/2026, online applications for the second phase of the Common Eligibility Test (CET) can be submitted from January 11 to January 25 (up to 11:59 pm). No application fee will be charged to candidates from any category. The detailed advertisement regarding the recruitment is available on the Commission's official website.
Mandatory Dates For Certificates
Specific validity periods have been set for reservation certificates:
BC-A, BC-B, and EWS: Supporting certificates for Backward Class-A, Backward Class-B, and Economically Weaker Sections must be issued between April 1, 2025 and January 25, 2026.
DSC and OSC: Certificates for Deprived Scheduled Castes (DSC) and Other Scheduled Castes (OSC) must be issued after November 13, 2024, and before the application deadline.
ESM Families: Eligibility certificates for family members of Ex-Servicemen (ESM) must be issued or renewed after January 12, 2025.
Re-Application Mandatory For Previous Applicants
Himmat Singh clarified that candidates who had previously applied under Advertisement No. 14/2024 are also required to apply afresh for this recruitment process. However, they will be granted age relaxation as per the rules. Information regarding the exam date and admit card downloads will be issued separately by the Commission later.
Warning: No Correction Portal Will Be Opened
The Commission Chairman has appealed to all eligible candidates to read all instructions and attachments in the advertisement carefully before applying and to ensure the process is completed before the deadline.
Crucially, the Chairman urged candidates to fill out their application forms themselves and not rely on CSC centers or other intermediaries.
If an application is found to have errors and is subsequently rejected, no correction portal will be opened to rectify it. Such applications will be considered final and will be automatically rejected. Therefore, candidates are advised to fill out the forms personally and with extreme caution to avoid any mistakes.
