Agra: A woman has been arrested for allegedly killing her husband and burying his body in the bathroom of their residence in Uttar Pradesh's Agra. Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident and are working to determine if more people were involved in the murder and cover-up.
45-Day Search Ends In Bathroom
According to a report by NDTV, the police, along with some workers, broke through a layer of plaster on the bathroom floor to recover the husband's body. Authorities had been on the case for the last 45 days, ever since the victim was first reported missing.

Accused Wife Faked Grief In Front Of Police And Neighbours
During the investigation, the woman, identified as Ruby, hid her alleged involvement by pretending to assist police by joining in the search for her missing husband, Surendra Sharma.
She used to cry in front of her neighbours to show she had been heartbroken ever since her husband went missing.
How Did The Incident Come To Light?
However, the breakthrough in the case came after Surendra's family found many inconsistencies in her version of the circumstances surrounding her husband's disappearance, prompting his brother to raise suspicion about Ruby, the report added.
The police, along with some workers, broke through a layer of plaster on the bathroom floor and recovered the husband's body. The body has been sent for post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause o the incident.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident and are working to determine if more people were involved in the murder or burying the body.
