When Jayesh Patel complained about this to the restaurant staff, they denied that it was a cockroach and claimed it was a large cardamom.
The employees said they would prove it by washing it in the kitchen. Patel objected, saying that taking the utensil to the kitchen could destroy the evidence. This sparked an argument between the two sides.
The argument escalated, after which the restaurant owner and employees allegedly attacked Jayesh Patel. Patel sustained severe injuries to his face and head. After being hit by such an attack, Patel was instantly admitted to Maharana Bhupal Hospital to receive medical treatment.
In a video that surfaced on social media, a policeman is also seen present at the spot at the time of the incident, but he failed to stop the fight.
Dhanmandi SHO Gajveer Singh confirmed that both parties have filed a case against one another. Police are further investigating the entire issue.
