Jagran Correspondent, Jammu: In a major update for the devotees, the authority has released a fare list for buses, taxis, auto rickshaws, e-autos, and e-rickshaws for the 57-day Baba Amarnath Yatra starting from July 3. The bus fares have been fixed on major routes from Jammu to Katra, Srinagar, Kishtwar, Bhaderwah, Banihal, Poonch, and Patnitop. The tourism department has clarified that vehicles charging more than the prescribed fare will be fined. Apart from this, their permits will be revoked if the mistake is repeated.

New Rates For Autos, E-rickshaws

- Petrol Autos: Rs 26 for the first kilometre and Rs 20 per kilometre thereafter

- E-autos: Rs 25 for the first kilometre and Rs 20 per kilometre thereafter

Fares for Kashmir Valley route:

Srinagar to Baltal: Rs 175 per passenger for bus and Rs 386 for taxi

Baltal to Jammu: Rs 643 per passenger for bus and Rs 1421 for taxi

Srinagar to Pahalgam: Rs 173 per passenger for bus and Rs 384 for taxi

Pahalgam to Jammu: Rs 434 for bus, Rs 959 for taxi

Srinagar to Jammu: Rs 468 for bus, Rs 1035 for taxi

These are the bus fare rates:

Jammu Bus Stand to Katra: Rs 74 (semi-deluxe 35-seater), Rs 103 (deluxe 28-seater), and Rs 123 (super deluxe 2 by 2)

Railway Station Jammu to Katra: Rs 92, Rs 127, Rs 155

Jammu to Srinagar: Rs 468, Rs 649, Rs 793

Jammu to Kishtwar: Rs 355, Rs 517, Rs 603

Jammu to Bhaderwah: Rs 307, Rs 426, Rs 522

Jammu to Banihal: Rs 274, Rs 380, Rs 464

Jammu to Poonch: Rs 420, Rs 601, Rs 710

Apart from this, the Motor Vehicles Department has fixed the minibus fare from Rs 8 to Rs 18 for various routes in Jammu, like from the Railway Station to the Bus Stand, Medical College, Bahu Fort, City Chowk, etc.
