Bengaluru Power Cut: The Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM) has announced power cuts in multiple areas in Bengaluru starting January 30. These outages will continue till February 1 in view of emergency maintenance work, grid upgrades and infrastructure work being undertaken by Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL).

The supply will be halted from 9 am to 6 pm in Bengaluru.
Bengaluru Power Cut Areas
Power will be affected at - F-4 HLTC, F-9 Bolare, F-3 Vedavigyan, F-2 Kaglipur, F-7 Avasarala, F12 - Concord-1, F13 Station Auxiliary-2, F-5 PGCIL, F-8 Somanahalli, F-1 Harohalli, F-10 Shantidama-1 FX6 Station and nearby areas.
Bengaluru Power Cut On January 31 And February 1
On January 31 and February 1 (Saturday and Sunday), power outages will extend up to 12 hours in Bengaluru. BESCOM has advised residents to plan their day in advance to avoid inconvenience.
The temporary shutdown will begin from 6 am and go on till 6 pm. As per BESCOM, supply will be restored if works are completed ahead of schedule.
Bengaluru Power Cut Areas
Sarjapur, Attibele (and industrial area), Anekal and surrounding villages, Samunduru, Balagarahalli and Manchanahalli, Dasanapura, Ballur, and Harohalli. These include Sarjapur, Attibele (and industrial area), Anekal, and surrounding villages. Nearby areas may also witness outage during this time. HRBR Layout, Kammanahalli, Kasturi Nagar, Ramamurthy Nagar are also expected to see outages.
Dasanapura, Balluru, Kamplipura, Chikkanahalli, Indlabelle, and Harohalli areas will also be affected. Areas connected to these feeder may also be affected during the mentioned time period.
Areas in South and West Bengaluru are also expected to be affected. These include - Rajajinagar (Blocks 2 and 6), Vijayanagar, Kengeri, Challakere and nearby clusters.
