Bengaluru Water Cut: In a major update for the residents of Bengaluru, several regions are likely to witness a water outage on Saturday. As per the officials, the water supply will remain disrupted for a few hours due to the urgent maintenance works. The Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) will repair the pipelines in several regions, leading to the inconveniences. The authority has advised the residents to follow the guidelines and plan their days accordingly.

While providing details, several regions of Bengaluru, including Kasturba Nagar, Bapujinagar, Shamanna Garden, Manjunath Nagar, Hosaguddadahalli, Haleguddadahalli, and Arafat Nagar, are set to witness a water outage on Saturday. As per the officials, a critical pipeline suffered damage in the recent days, leading to wastage of water.

The water board decided to repair the pipeline after the residents complained of disruption in the water supply. The water supply on Saturday will remain disrupted on Saturday, and the maintenance work is likely to begin at 9 AM. The officials also stated that maintenance works will also be carried out in other regions in the upcoming days.

In separate news, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has stated that several districts of Karnataka are likely to witness light to heavy rainfall for the next few days. The weather department stated that the rainfall will reduce the temperature by two to four degrees Celsius, providing relief from the heat.

While providing details, the weather department stated that several districts, including Bagalkot, Vijayapura, Koppal, Tamkur, Chitradurga, and Hassan, will witness heavy rainfall along with thunderstorms on May 31.

The capital city Bengaluru is also likely to witness light to moderate rainfall for the next two to three days. While the maximum temperature is likely to be calculated at 30 degrees Celsius, the minimum temperature is expected to remain around 20 degrees Celsius.
