Jagram Correspondent, Patna: To facilitate candidates appearing for the Bihar Prohibition, Excise and Registration Department's constable recruitment examination, the East Central Railway on Sunday operated 16 special trains.
These special services, running across various sections of the Danapur and Sonpur divisions, facilitated thousands of candidates heading to and from their examination centres.
ECR Operates Special Trains As Huge Crowds Throng Patna Stations
According to a report by Jagran.com, major railway stations, including Patna Junction, Rajendra Nagar Terminal, Danapur, and Patliputra Junction, witnessed heavy passenger rush on Sunday as thousands of candidates arrived at stations to return home after the recruitment exam.
To manage the crowd, the railway administration operated special trains and deployed additional RPF, GRP, and Commercial Department personnel. Railway officials closely monitored the operations throughout the day to ensure all passengers boarded their trains safely and smoothly.
