In a tragic incident, a family of five were found dead at their rented house in Chhattisgarh's Raipur. The deceased included a husband and wife, two daughters and a son. The family was living in the rented house for the last eight months. As the neighbours discovered the bodies, they informed the Tikrapara police.

The deceased were identified as Sajid Ali (50), Rabia (wife), Irshad Ali (son, 19), Shahida (daughter, 17), and Ishaba Begum (16). While Ali's body was found hanging through the noose, the remaining bodies were found in the room, with foam oozing from their mouths and nose. The cops suspect the four members died of poisoning.

How were the bodies found?

The family had been residing in the house for the past eight months. Neighbours reported that the door had been locked from the inside since Thursday evening. Concerned about the situation, they eventually alerted the authorities after discovering the bodies inside. The police were informed without delay.

Upon receiving information about the incident, Tikrapara police and a team of forensic experts arrived at the scene. The police sealed the house and began collecting evidence.

Police officials said the body has been sent to Ambedkar Hospital for a post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death. All aspects are being investigated thoroughly.

A bank loan

Sajid Ali worked as a battery repair man in Maudhapura. The locals said that the family had taken a loan, and recovery agents frequently visited the site to collect the money. It is also being reported that financial difficulties led to internal disputes within the family.

In a similar case, a family of three allegedly died by suicide inAndhra Pradesh's Nellore district, reportedly distressed over the uncertain future of their son, who had been unable to secure consistent employment, a police official said. According to the police, the deceased have been identified as M Madhusudhan Rao (65), his wife Ratnavali (56), and their son Sai Samrath (25). All three were found dead at their home in Duvvuru village of Sangam mandal. Madhusudhan was a retired teacher, and his son had studied engineering.
