Delhi Blast Probe: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Monday conducted raids at eight locations across Pulwama, Shopian, and Kulgam districts in Kashmir in connection with a "white-collar" terror module allegedly linked to the blast near Delhi’s Red Fort.

The raids come as part of a probe into the car blast, which claimed the lives of 15 people and injured over two dozen others last month.

NIA Targets Mastermind Of 'White-Collar' Terror Module

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted searches at the residence of Moulvi Irfan Ahmad Wagay IN Shopian, who officials identify as the mastermind behind the radicalisation and recruitment efforts of the 'white-collar' terror module busted last month, news agency PTI reported.

Wagay was arrested by the police in October. The NIA took him into custody last month after taking over the investigation into the car blast that claimed 15 lives and injured several others.

In connection with the case, the NIA also conducted raids at the residence of Dr Adeel Ahmad Rather, who was taken into custody from Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, in the first week of November.

The NIA teams conducted a major search at the residence of Jasir Bilal Wani, alias Danish, a key co-conspirator in the November 10 Red Fort car blast. Wani, a political science graduate from Anantnag's Qazigund, was identified as the module's technical backbone. He allegedly collaborated with Dr Umar Nabi, the suicide bomber, to plan Hamas-style drone attacks and develop crude rockets, Times of India reported.

Wani modified drones, upgrading their batteries and cameras, and attempting to integrate small explosive payloads designed for deployment in crowded public areas. The raid at Wani's house is currently underway, PTI reported.

Speaking to PTI, the officials stated that raids were also conducted in Pulwama district at Koil, Chandgam, Malangpora, and Samboora, as locations are linked to individuals involved in the Delhi car blast case.
