Correspondent, Gaggal (Kangra): Airlines have increased airfares due to the India-Afghanistan match scheduled for June 13 in Dharamshala. Air travel from Delhi to Dharamshala will now be significantly more expensive for those coming to watch the match. Economy class fares, which typically range from Rs 5,500 to 7,000, have increased more than threefold, reaching over Rs 10,000 to 16,000.
5 Flights Operating
Currently, five flights operate at Kangra Airport, including two operated by SpiceJet and three by IndiGo. Due to the increased demand, airlines have significantly increased ticket rates.

The fare per passenger for an IndiGo flight departing from Delhi at 6:50 am on Wednesday was recorded at Rs 16,164. The fare for a SpiceJet flight at 10:40 am was Rs 10,843 and another SpiceJet flight at 12:30 pm was shown at Rs 13,477.
Demand For Tickets Increased Due To India-Afghanistan Match
