Noida News: A South Korean man was found dead in Greater Noida on Sunday and his live-in partner, a woman from Manipur, has been taken into police custody in connection with the case.
Police said they were informed by GIMS Hospital after the man was brought in by his partner and declared dead on arrival. The victim was identified as Duck Hee Yuh. Following the hospital’s alert, a police team reached the facility and began preliminary questioning.
What Police Found
According to officers, the couple lived together in a high-rise apartment in Greater Noida. The victim was employed as a manager with a mobile phone company. Initial investigation suggests that the incident followed an argument between the two during a drinking session at their residence.

The NDTV report cited Police as stating that the argument escalated and during the confrontation, the woman allegedly stabbed the man in the chest.
Accused’s Statement
The accused, identified as Lunjeana Pamai, told investigators that she acted in anger after repeated arguments. She alleged that her partner often became violent after consuming alcohol. She claimed she did not intend to kill him and rushed him to the hospital immediately after the incident.

Pamai was present at the hospital when police arrived and was later detained for questioning.
Legal Action Underway
Police have registered a case at the Knowledge Park police station under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). Officials said the exact cause of death and the number of stab wounds will be confirmed after the post-mortem examination.
Further investigation is ongoing to establish the full sequence of events and record statements from neighbours and other witnesses.
