A 22-year-old Indian medical student was behind the success of a MAGA influencer, who was prepared using generative Artificial Intelligence tools. The man developed the account of the influencer, known online as "Emily Hart" in a way so as to create massive support between conservative audiences in the United States. The account would only post content, generated through AI, in favour of US President Donald Trump.
The man wanted to be identified as Sam, a pseudonym, according to a report in WIRED. He decided to form such an account to make quick money that would help him move to the US.
Sam took credit for developing the woman's face, hair and other body parts as well as the captions she posted supporting Trump and Christianity. The profile stated that the influencer was a nurse and had resemblance to actress Jennifer Lawrence.

The fake influencer was posted wearing bikinis, and being involved in activities like ice fishing and drinking beer.
"Every reel I posted was getting 3 million views, 5 million views, 10 million views. The algorithm loved it. Within a month, Emily Hart had more than 10,000 Instagram followers, many of whom also subscribed to her softcore AI-generated content on the OnlyFans competitor Fanvue," he told The Wired.
"I was spending maybe 30 to 50 minutes of my day, and I was making good money for a medical student. In India, even in professional jobs, you can't make this amount of money. I haven't seen any easier way to make money online," Sam explained, adding that he was comfortably earning a few thousand dollars a month.

How Did Sam Create The Images?
Grok AI on X was used by Sam to frame explicit images of the said influencer. The content was then put out on a platform called Fanvue where people access exclusive stuff.
"I was basically doing nothing. And it was just flooded with money," he said.
Fake Influencer Account Taken Down
In February, Emily Harts’s Instagram handle was blocked for suspicious activity. Her Facebook handle was also removed after a report by WIRED exposed the entire scene.
