Jagran Correspondent Arrah | The Mahapanchayat was held in Bilauti village of Shahpur block, Bhojpur, Bihar on Wednesday, seeking justice in the Bharat Bhushan Tiwari encounter case. The event received a huge response from across Bihar and other states as well. Many eminent people, including Jan Suraaj founder Prashant Kishor, arrived at the public meeting.
People from far and wide began arriving to attend the event since early morning. Posters and banners of Bharat Tiwari have been put up in the village and surrounding areas, while many people are arriving carrying the tricolour and shouting slogans.

The greatest enthusiasm for the Mahapanchayat was being seen among the youth. Over five thousand people were claimed to have reached the venue so far. A large number of youth appeared united in demanding justice for Tiwari's family.
Prashant Kishor Warns CM Samrat Choudhari
Meanwhile, Prashant Kishor, who reached Bilauti village for the Mahapanchayat, met the deceased's mother. He addressed the gathering, saying if justice is not delivered, the next agitation will be held outside the CM's house in Patna.
"If Bharat Bhushan Tiwari does not get justice within 15 days, we will carry out a gherao of Samrat Chaudhary's residence in Patna," Kishor asserted.
As soon as the Jan Suraaj leader arrived at the venue, the crowd got excited, and the enthusiasm of his supporters reached its peak.
Youth united to demand justice. A large number of youth paid tribute to Bharat Tiwari, seeking justice for Tiwari's family. They said the movement would continue in various phases until a fair investigation was conducted and action was taken against the culprits.
The youth unanimously stated that this was not just a matter of one individual, but a question of people's faith in justice and the system. Therefore, this fight is receiving widespread public support, they added.
People From Far Away Are Reaching The Venue
According to the organising committee, the largest number of people arrived from the Shahpur Diyaranchal area of Bhojpur district, with a convoy of hundreds of vehicles. Additionally, people are reported to be arriving from several states, including Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Delhi, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana.
Members Of The Right-Wingers Attend Meet
Representatives from various social and religious organisations, including the Karni Sena, Parshuram Mahasabha, Hindu Mahasabha, Brahmin Mahasabha, and Hindu Jagran Manch, reportedly attended the Mahapanchayat.
A large garden located near the Buxar-Ara four-lane in Bilauti village has been prepared as the venue. Arrangements have been made for a large pandal, stage, drinking water, food, and parking for vehicles.
The growing public participation in the Bharat Tiwari encounter case has made this Mahapanchayat one of the most talked-about political and social events in the state.
