As the Special Intensive Revision ends, the official draft voter list for all the constituencies of Maharashtra was released on Monday. According to the data available on the website of the state's Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), out of a total of over 9.78 crore (9,78,54,049) registered voters before SIR, 78.86 per cent or 7,71,65,562 have been included in the draft rolls. The names of 2,06,88,487 or 21.14 per cent of voters were removed.

The deleted names include voters classified as absent/not found, permanently shifted, dead, already enrolled elsewhere/duplicate, and other cases. The deleted names do not mean their names will be removed from the final roll. Instead, the voters whose names are missing from the draft rolls can get them included by following certain procedures.

How To Check Names From The List?

Individuals can search for their names by visiting the official websites ceo.maharashtra.gov.in or voters.eci.gov.in, and can also receive information from the BLO in their area. While searching for a name in the list, it is important to check whether your name, spelling of the name, age, date of birth, photo, address, voter number (EPIC) and polling station are correct.
