A Mumbai woman on Tuesday engaged in a heated argument with Maharashtra's Water Resources Minister, Girish Mahajan, and local police officials. She reportedly lost her cool after being stranded in traffic for hours due to a local protest in the evening hours. The woman reminded the state minister and other protesters of the commuters stranded in the traffic due to the prolonged protest in the Worli area. The demonstration was held against the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) leaders after the proposal to amend the women's reservation bill failed in the Lok Sabha.
The protest was attended by a large number of BJP workers; however, a delay in the commencement led to heavy traffic congestion in the region. The woman was reportedly on her way to pick her child from school but lost her cool after being stranded in the congestion for hours. While talking to Mahajan, she asserted that the people were facing delays due to his protest.
"There are hundreds of people waiting. There is an empty ground there!" she was heard saying. "Get out of here!" the woman added. She further asked a policeman to clear the roads immediately, adding that such acts were intolerable.
The video has gone viral on the social media platforms, with the netizens praising her courage and questioning the behaviour of politicians.
