In a shocking accident, a speeding Thar lost control and plunged nearly 50 feet from a bridge in Indore in the early hours of Saturday. Fortunately, no lives were lost, but all four people travelling in the vehicle sustained serious injuries.

The accident occurred on the Prateek Setu Bridge in the Rajendra Nagar police station area of Indore at around 3:30 am. According to preliminary information, the black Thar was travelling from Annapurna towards Bijalpur when the driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle.

According to preliminary information, the Thar crashed through the roadside railing and plunged around 50 feet from the bridge. The vehicle reportedly travelled in the air before hitting the ground. A railway track is located close to the spot where the vehicle fell, making the incident even more dangerous. Fortunately, no other vehicles or pedestrians were present on the road at the time of the accident.

The injured have been identified as Aarti, 25, Abhijit, 20, Aditya, and Lavanya. All four are currently undergoing treatment at a hospital.

Police are investigating the circumstances that led to the accident, including why the vehicle was travelling at such a high speed and whether the driver was under the influence of alcohol. Officials are examining all aspects of the incident.

Four Trapped Inside Wrecked Vehicle

The impact of the crash was so severe that the Thar overturned and was badly damaged after hitting the ground. The vehicle's airbags also deployed due to the force of the collision. All four occupants became trapped inside the overturned vehicle.

Soon after the accident, people at the scene alerted the police. With the help of local residents, police personnel rescued all four occupants from the wreckage and rushed them to a hospital for treatment.

After receiving information about the incident, ACP Nidhi Saxena reached the spot. She said police had received information about a Thar plunging from the Prateek Setu Bridge in the Rajendra Nagar police station area.

The police are now investigating the exact circumstances surrounding the crash and determining whether excessive speed or any other factor contributed to the accident.
