Telangana Weather Update: In a major update for the residents, several districts of Telangana are likely to witness moderate to heavy rainfall at least for the next five days. As per the India Meteorological Department (IMD), along with heavy rainfall, several regions are also set to experience thunderstorms, gusty winds and lightning. The residents have been advised to stay updated and plan their days accordingly.

Rain Likely In Several Districts

As per the weather department, heavy rainfall is likely in several northern and central districts, including Adilabad, Kumuram Bheem-Asifabad, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Mancherial, Jagtial, Rajanna Sircilla, Siddipet, Karimnagar, Hanumakonda and Peddapalli. The continuous rainfall is likely to cause waterlogging in the lower regions, causing inconvenience to the local commuters.

Apart from this, several southern districts, such as Nalgonda, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, Jogulamba Gadwal, Narayanpet, Mahabubnagar, Suryapet, Khammam and Yadadri Bhuvanagiri are set to experience heavy rainfall on Saturday. The locals are also likely to witness gusty winds and thunderstorms throughout the day, the weather department added.

Light Rain Likely In Hyderabad

The residents of Hyderabad are also likely to witness cloudy skies and light rainfall on Friday. While the maximum temperature is likely to be calculated at 33 degrees Celsius, the minimum temperature is expected to remain around 25 degrees Celsius.

However, the weather department has specified that the intensity of the rainfall is expected to significantly drop after September 25. Along with Telangana, at least 20 districts of Tamil Nadu, including Chennai, are likely to witness moderate to heavy rainfall.

As per the weather department, moderate to heavy rainfall is likely in multiple regions, including Chennai, Tiruvallur, Chengalpattu, Kancheepuram, Ranipet, Vellore, Tirupattur, Salem, Tirupur, Erode, Dharmapuri, Namakkal, Madurai, Sivagangai, Krishnagiri, Kallakurichi, Cuddalore, Perambalur, Ariyalur, Karur, Mayiladuthurai, Thanjavur, Tiruvarur, Nagapattinam, and Pudukottai. Apart from this, the residents of Puducherry and Karaikal will experience similar weather conditions.
