RailOne App Launch: Railway Minister Ashiwini Vaishnaw on Tuesday launched the ‘RailOne’ app to streamline various passenger services under one platform. The RailOne app is a one-stop solution to answer a variety of railway-related queries for passengers. The new app will host various services at one place, like booking IRCTC reserved, unreserved and platform tickets, tracking PNR and train status, coach position, Rail Madad and travel feedback.

New ‘RailOne’ App Full Details:

With the aim of enhancing user experience by streamlining all the railway-related services in one place, the Indian Railways launched the RailOne app. The app was launched at the 40th Foundation Day celebration of the Centre for Railways Information Systems.

The RailOne app can be downloaded from the Android Store and the iOS App Store. Once the app is downloaded successfully, you can sign in to the app and access various railway services in one place, eliminating the need for multiple accounts and remembering various passwords.

Currently, the travellers have to access different apps for different railway-related needs or queries. These include IRCTC Rail Connect for booking tickets, IRCTC eCatering Food on Track for ordering meals, Rail Madad for providing feedback, UTS for purchasing unreserved tickets, and National Train Enquiry System for monitoring train movements.

RailOne App Registration:

To register on the RailOne app, users can use their existing RailConnect or UTSonMobile credentials. New users can register on the RailOne app with minimal information. Users can access the app by simply remembering the m-PIN or through biometric options.

Earlier, the Indian Railways announced several changes in the train ticket booking system to enhance traveller comfort. The Railways mandated Aadhaar verification for Tatkal ticket booking. According to the new modification, charts will be prepared eight hours prior to the train journey. The Railways also hiked ticket prices, effective from July 1.
