In the latest updates in the Ram Mandir donation theft case, Tinnu Yadav revealed that he was the mastermind in the case. During the interrogation, Ramshankar Yadav said that he had the keys to the donation box and was also given access to the control room. During the 39-hour interrogation, Yadav provided crucial information regarding the cash recovery.

During the questioning, Yadav agreed that the thefts were conducted in the temple with his approval. The accused made these revelations after Tinnu Yadav and his nephew Manish Yadav were remanded by the police.

Yadav Held Keys Of Control Room

Yadav claimed that he was an influential person in the temple complex. He held the keys of the donation boxes and even carried a walkie-talkie. According to the SIT report, Tinnu Yadav held the keys without any official orders.

The lack of transparency helped the accused carry out the thefts. Yadav not only held the keys but also had access to the control room. The SIT revealed that Yadav would also reveal the location of the cash.

As per the police officials, Yadav made several statements regarding the keys, which suggest the police are likely to recover them. Sources also say Tinnu admitted to the police that he controlled the control room and counting room.

Temple Tightened Security

Earlier, the authorities tightened the security in the temple. The counting operation will now be conducted under a two-layer security system to prevent any irregularities. Additionally, along with police personnel, a private security agency has also been assigned key responsibilities. Security staff from SIS have been deployed at the entry points of the counting center, where police personnel are also stationed.

Employees will be allowed to enter the donation counting room, located in the basement of the Pilgrim Facilitation Centre, only after clearing both levels of security checks. They will also be subjected to thorough frisking while exiting the premises.
