Summer Special Trains: Ahead of the summer vacation rush, trains heading towards eastern India are witnessing heavy passenger traffic. To ease congestion and improve travel convenience, the Railways has announced several summer special trains for destinations including Dankuni and Howrah in West Bengal, along with Tatanagar and Ranchi in Jharkhand.

The Anand Vihar Terminal-Dankuni weekly special train will consist of AC, sleeper, and general coaches, while the remaining special trains will operate with sleeper and general class coaches only.

Anand Vihar Terminal-Dankuni Weekly Special

Special train number 03009 will depart from Dankuni every Saturday from May 16 to June 27 at 12:30 am. In the return direction, special train number 03010 will run every Sunday from May 17 to June 28, departing at 3 pm from Anand Vihar Terminal.

The train will halt at Bardhaman, Durgapur, Asansol, Chittaranjan, Madhupur, Jasidih, Jhajha, Kiul, Sheikhpura, Nawada, Tilaiya, Gaya, Anugrah Narayan Road, Dehri-on-Sone, Sasaram, Bhabua Road, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Junction, Mirzapur, Prayagraj, Govindpuri, Etawah, and Tundla stations.

New Delhi-Howrah Special

Special train number 08057 will depart from Howrah on May 22 at 5:15 pm. On the return journey, special train number 08058 will leave New Delhi on May 25 at 2:15 am.

The train will stop at Kharagpur, Bankura, Adra, Bhojudih, Mahuda, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Gomoh, Gaya, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Junction, Prayagraj, and Govindpuri stations.

Old Delhi-Ranchi Special

Special train number 08639 will depart from Ranchi on May 23 at 3:30 am. In the return direction, special train number 08640 will leave Old Delhi at 1:25 am on May 25.

The train will halt at Lohardaga, Tori, Daltonganj, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Junction, Prayagraj, and Govindpuri stations.

Tatanagar-Anand Vihar Terminal Special

Special train number 08183 will depart from Tatanagar on May 23 at 12:30 am. On the return journey, special train number 08184 will leave Anand Vihar Terminal at 1:45 am on May 25.

The train will stop at Muri, Bokaro Steel City, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Gomoh, Gaya, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Junction, Prayagraj, and Govindpuri railway stations.
