To improve overnight connectivity between Ajmer and Jaipur, the North Western division of the railway is planning to introduce a new Vande Bharat sleeper train. The proposed service is also likely to be extended to New Delhi and could be launched by March 2026. This initiative is part of a broader effort by Indian Railways to expand the network of modern, high-speed sleeper trains across the country.
Unlike the existing Vande Bharat trains that operate during the day, these sleeper variants are designed specifically for overnight travel. They are expected to feature comfortable sleeping berths and upgraded amenities, offering passengers a more convenient and pleasant long-distance travel experience compared to many conventional overnight trains.
