A viral social media post gained widespread attention after a woman shared an email sent to the HR department, saying that she would continue working from home to support Prime Minister Narendra Modi's recent appeal. As per the post, Supriya informed her HR team that she would be working remotely until May 10, 2027, calling it her personal contribution towards the nation’s fuel-saving efforts amid rising oil prices and tensions in West Asia.
Sharing the screenshot on X, Supriya wrote, “This is to inform you that I will be working from home till 10th May 2027, as per the request made by our PM Modi to support the work from home initiative for the next one year. This is the least I can do for my country. Thank you."
Sharing the screenshot online, she captioned the post, “I’ve done my part for the nation… your turn now."
