Jharkhand Blast: A couple and another person was killed and one person injured in a blast at Habibinagar area in Jharkhand's Hazaribag on Wednesday. The reason behind the explosion could not be immediately ascertained, and a forensic team has been rushed to the spot, police said. The blast occurred around 4 pm.
According to Jagran.com report, Three people were killed instantly in a blast on Wednesday, with a fourth person sustaining serious injuries. The incident occurred in the Habibi Nagar area, under the jurisdiction of Hazaribagh Sadar Police Station.
The victims have been identified as Saddam, son of Mo Yunus, a young woman named Parveen, and another individual whose identity is yet to be confirmed. Authorities have stated that the full circumstances of the explosion will only become clear after a thorough investigation.
The injured person has been sent to Sadar Hospital, Hazaribag. The blast sent shockwaves through the locality, creating widespread panic among residents.
Residents said the explosion occurred when a shovel or another clearing tool struck the device. The blast was so powerful that it terrified those nearby.

There was screaming and shouting at the scene. Upon receiving the report, Sadar police arrived, cordoned off the area, and rescued the injured. The police also recovered the bodies and sent them for post-mortem examination.
