A video showing students of BSS Women's College using mobile phones to write their exam papers has gone viral. The video was recorded and circulated by a student from the college itself. In the footage, students can clearly be seen looking at their mobile phones while writing their answers.
AISA Raises The Issue
The matter came to light when members of the All India Students Association (AISA) were conducting a membership drive on the college campus. During the drive, several students complained to them about the cheating. Members of the AISA district committee stated that they raised the issue with the principal and other teachers. However, the principal dismissed the allegations of students using mobiles to cheat as false.
Students Allege Pressure From Teachers
Students associated with AISA alleged that following the complaint, some teachers at the college pressured them. To substantiate their claims, they recorded the video as evidence. Later, they met Dr. Pushpa Kumari, the Dean of Students' Welfare (DSW) at Binod Bihari Mahto Koyalanchal University (BBMKU), to lodge a formal complaint. The student leaders warned that if the situation does not improve soon, they will be forced to launch a street protest against BSS College.

College Announces Pre-Board Dates Amid Controversy
Amid the controversy surrounding the viral cheating video, BSS College issued a notice on Tuesday regarding the Class 12 final Pre-Board exams. According to the notice, the exams will be held from January 28 to January 30. The examinations will be conducted in two shifts: the first shift from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, and the second shift from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
