Jharkhand To Conduct Stray Round Counselling to Fill Vacant MBBS, BDS And Homoeopathy Seats | Schedule

Stray round counselling will be held to fill vacant MBBS, BDS, and Homoeopathy seats in Jharkhand's medical colleges. New candidates can apply online from November 6 to 8.

To ensure that no medical seat remains vacant in the state, the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) has announced a stray round of counselling for MBBS, BDS, and Homoeopathy courses following directions from the Medical Counselling Committee.

Fresh online registration for candidates will be open from November 6 to 8. The state merit list will be released on November 10, followed by the publication of vacant seats on November 11.

Key Counselling Schedule

-Online choice filling: November 11-12

-Choice editing: Until November 13

-Seat allotment: November 14-20

-Admission to allotted colleges: November 15-20

The move is aimed at utilising all available medical seats across government and private institutions in Jharkhand.

Meanwhile, in the ongoing investigation into the alleged paper leak in the JSSC CGL examination, the Crime Investigation Department (CID) has issued notices to two individuals, Kunal Kumar and Prakash Kumar, for questioning. Both have been asked to appear at the CID headquarters.

Earlier in this case, Section Officer Santosh Kumar Mastana from the Finance Department was arrested for spreading rumours related to the exam. The investigation remains underway.
