Mumbai Rain: The financial capital of India has been brought to a standstill as relentless overnight and morning rains continue to wreak havoc, severely disrupting public transport services and causing inconvenience to commuters.

According to the latest weather updates, the city is bracing for a high tide of up to 4.24 metres at 11:28 am, which coincides with the heavy downpour, raising serious concerns about potential flooding. Mumbai and the adjacent Palghar district have been placed under a yellow alert, while Thane district faces a more severe orange alert.
