Google pixel 10a Leaks: It is that time of the year when major smartphone companies will start dropping their flagship devices for this year. With Samsung's premium offering on the anvil, other tech giants are also expected to showcase their devices soon. With that said, another major smartphone that could drop soon is the Google Pixel 10a, although the launch timeline was previously rumoured to be somewhere towards the end of 2025.

Courtesy of Android Headlines, we now have a look at the first supposed official renders of the Google Pixel 10a. This latest render showcases the phone sporting the colour black, which is likely the colour Obsidian already seen in other models. This render shows that the new version could look a lot like its predecessor, the Pixel 9a. Thicker bezels like the Pixel 9a in this model might disappoint fans a bit, as most smartphones are moving away from them, but that said, these are just renders, and official details are not out yet.

As far as cameras are concerned, it looks like not much has changed here either, with a dual rear cam setup and punch-hole camera for selfies on the front. This makes it look very similar to the Pixel 9a, and this is not surprising at all, as the tech giant has decided to stick with the same design for three generations now, which is a bit disappointing, as you can expect the Pixel 11a to look the same as well. Is this the right strategy in this age? We will know with time.
Key Specs Expectations: Same as Pixel 9a?
The Pixel 10a doesn’t look like it’s chasing big changes at all. Most of its hardware is expected to mirror the Pixel 9a, starting with the display. Google will call it a 6.3-inch screen, even though the actual size sits closer to 6.285 inches. It’s still a smooth 120 Hz panel that can dial things down to 60 Hz, but this isn’t a full LTPO setup.
Memory and storage are also playing it safe. The base variant is tipped to come with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, while a 256GB option should be available for those who want more space. Battery capacity is said to land at 5,100 mAh, and despite all the new battery talk lately, this one isn’t using silicon-carbon tech. Charging speeds are expected to peak at 23W, which clearly shows Google isn’t trying to push boundaries here.
As far as the chipset is concerned, leaks suggest the Pixel 10a might use an amped-up Tensor G4 processor, which is not completely similar to chips used in the Pixel 10 Series smartphones.
When it comes to the release dates, nothing is officially confirmed, but leaks point to a date in spring, likely around March and April, as was the case with Pixel 9a, which was later delayed until April.
