Jio Prepaid Mobile Recharge Plan: Reliance Jio, the largest private telecom operator in India, has introduced a new offer for its customers which comes with 84 days of validity for just Rs 369. But before we dive into the details, there are a few things you should know about the plan.
For those who don't know, Jio offers two types of prepaid plans: one is the regular plan for every smartphone, and the other is the JioPhone or JioBharat Plan. This Rs 369 plan will work for JioPhone and JioBharat device users only, and this JioBharat plan caters specifically to people who have a Jio-series keypad phone with 4G in it. Let's take a deep dive into the plan now.
Reliance Jio’s Rs. 369 plan
Reliance Jio’s Rs. 369 plan keeps things simple and budget-friendly. It bundles unlimited voice calls with 300 SMS and throws in 0.5GB of data per day, which adds up to 42GB overall. While the benefits run for 28 days, the service validity extends to a full 84 days. Break it down, and the daily cost comes to just Rs. 4.39. Since keypad phones don’t really need heavy data usage like smartphones, the 0.5GB daily data limit fits the use case perfectly on Jio’s 4G network.
Apart from that, JioBharat aids the company in adding more customers to its network who can later upgrade to smartphones and continue using their Jio services.

This is a part of a long-term plan by Jio, as many people in the country still use keypad-based JioBharat phones and JioBharat devices. Therefore, when Jio adds new customers to its network, the company's average revenue per user (ARPU) doesn't increase as much, as these plans and devices are offered at a lower price point. The telecom giant annually refreshes its plans for these devices around the same time when the India Mobile Congress (IMC) takes place.
