APPLE WWDC 2023: As the tech giant prepares for Worldwide Developer Conference slated to begin on June 5, leaks concerning the AR/VR headset are flooding the Internet. The latest one includes preparations to offer hands-on demos of the xrOS-powered MR device to a few attendees and media at WWDC. Secondly, Apple may issue health warnings to certain people against the use of Reality Pro due to its health implications.

WWDC 2023: Mixed Reality Headset Demo

Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, a reputed name for Apple-focused leaks, claimed the company has built a structure at Apple Park to offer demos of the upcoming AR/VR gadget to some attendees and the media. This setup is located at the "basketball courts" near the "employee fitness center." The focal points of the demo could be FaceTime in Virtual Reality, gaming and immersive Apple TV content viewing.

In addition, the Chief Correspondent speculates that a hands-on area inside the Steve Jobs Theater could open for developers after the keynote. Further, the company plans to offer more demos in the summer.

Apple WWDC 2023: AR/VR Headset Use-case Warnings

On the other hand, the Cupertino-based tech giant may educate customers with certain health conditions on the risks the technology brings with it. Plus, why they should not buy the device.

"People with Meniere's Disease, past traumatic brain injuries, post-concussion syndrome, migraines and vertigo" may be notified in this protocol. Besides these, "if you're prone to prone to inner ear infections, have ADHD/ADD, anxiety disorders, a pacemaker, epilepsy, blackouts/seizures or are pregnant, you may be warned" against the use of the premium MR headset.

Besides these, Gurman adds that some testers have discovered that the product overheats.

AR/VR Headset Colour Options and storage variants

As per fresh leaks, the M2-powered Mixed Reality headset may debut in six colour shades and two storage variants. You can read more details on this here.

Meanwhile, the first Reality Pro headset could materialise at the mega event on Monday at a price tag of $ 3,000 (near about Rs 2.5 lakh). It may have two 1.41-inch diagonal screens with 4,000 pixels and up to 5,000 nits brightness.
