Agra Traffic Advisory For Christmas: In view of the anticipated surge of visitors between December 25 and January 5, 2026, the Agra Traffic Police have announced a revised traffic plan to ensure smooth traffic flow at the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort.
Under the direction of Police Commissioner Deepak Kumar, tourist vehicles are now required to access the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort via alternate routes to avoid inconvenience. The traffic arrangement will be in place from 9 AM to 5 PM for the upcoming Christmas and New Year festivities.
These measures are aimed at maintaining public order and safety during the busy New Year period. Authorities have advised visitors and locals to follow the revised traffic plan to avoid inconvenience.
Agra Traffic Advisory: Check Affected And Alternative Routes
The Agra Traffic Police have announced traffic and diversions for all tourist buses and heavy vehicles from 9 AM to 5 PM between December 25 and January 5, 2026, Jagran.com reported.
- Under the revised traffic system, vehicles coming from Delhi, Mathura, Kanpur, and Firozabad will travel from Kuberpur via the Inner Ring Road to reach Ramada Cut, Fatehabad Road.
- Tourist movement will be completely restricted on Yamuna Kinara Marg and from Waterworks through Jeevani Mandi toward the Agra Fort or Taj Mahal.

- These vehicular restrictions and diversions will be in place from 9 AM to 5 PM between December 25 and January 5, 2026.
- To assist tourists accessing the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort, police personnel will be deployed, and dedicated help desks will be set up at all major intersections and parking zones during the upcoming Christmas and New Year festivities.
- The Agra Traffic Police have urged commuters to follow the official traffic guidelines and extend cooperation to on-site personnel to avoid inconvenience.
